SmartRV brands have been recognised at this year’s Caravan Salon in Europe, with Carado a big winner in the Customer is King awards and Bürstner featuring in the Golden Camper awards.
Presented at the fair in August, the prestigious awards are an industry barometer and have again acknowledged the quality of the Carado and Bürstner brands.
The “König Kunde” (The Customer is King) awards are based on reader surveys by Camping, Cars & Caravans magazine, relying on actual customer satisfaction with their motorhome, caravans and accessories.
Carado was an overall winner, taking first prize in the categories of customer loyalty, quality, and value for money; second prize in the service category and third in the workshop category.
Carado was further recognised with the special award “Good value for money”. The brand’s delighted spokesperson Carina Ströbele thanked all who participated and voted for Carado. “This is a unique success we are very proud of,” she says. “We know that we must not rest on our laurels and we will keep on working on customer satisfaction.”
Golden Campers awards 2016
The Golden Camper awards also rely on customer feedback, with Auto Bild Reisemobil magazine readers voting for their favourites in six different categories (vans, alcove, semi-integrated, integrated, liner and accessories).
Bürstner Ixeo Time IT590 and Bürstner Elegance i745G were amongst the vehicles recognised in the categories of semi-integrated and integrated.
The awards are a highlight of the 2016 Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf which was visited by over 200,000 people this year, with a surge in first-time visitors who made up 34 per cent overall.
